North Augusta, SC Children Photographer | Samantha is One!

I had the pleasure of photographing a sweet one year old this past weekend!  Her grandmother works with me at my other job, and I've been able to watch Samantha grow over the last year!  Her grandma isn't proud of her or anything!  Samantha is full of personality and is getting the hang of this walking thing!  She was so much fun to photograph and I just love her little smile.

Happy 1st birthday Samantha!   I hope everyone enjoys this sneak preview!

She loved this little football!  Thankfully it matched her outfit.   She definitely has a good throwing arm.  She was making her daddy run all over the place to catch the ball.

Happy Birthday!

We also tried to sneak in a few Christmas pictures!  I think she was on to us.

Love this!

North Augusta SC Engagement Photographer | Lauren and Richard

I met Lauren and Richard earlier this year and can't wait for their November wedding!  I got to know them a little better the other week when we met up in North Augusta, SC for their engagement session.

The theme for this session was " I'm not sure if you realize, but it is dark out here".  The reason for this "theme" is because we photographed well past dusk and it really did get dark outside!  I told them to trust me and that I promised the pictures would come out.

Here is a sneak preview and I can't wait to share their wedding in a few weeks!

BTW... Lauren and Richard... the pictures did turn out.  I found some light somewhere!

Richard did a great job on the ring!  It is gorgeous

I love when couples can laugh together... a lot of times about something I did or said!

Here is where we start losing the light

They are both huge fans of different teams.  So, are the Rays better or the Red Sox?

Love this one!  Even if it is in the dark. :)

Augusta GA Family Photographer | Abigail and Brandon

I have known Brandon and his family since we were all kids.  His sister, Lauri, and I grew up going to church together and Brandon is my brothers age. I was recently contacted by Brandon's other sister, Shana, about doing a photo shoot for Brandon and Abigail.  I was excited to see Brandon after many years and also meet Abigail.

Brandon is deploying this month and Abigail is due in March with a baby girl.  We wanted to combine a few sessions together that would typically take place over the next few months.

Here is a sneak preview and I hope you enjoy!  Please keep Brandon and all the other service men and women in your thoughts and prayers!

Augusta GA Wedding Photographer | Amanda and DJ

Early this year, I got an email from a groom.  I thought this was kind of odd, because I usually receive inquiries from the bride.  I thought it might be a scam, but I quickly realized this was a groom that loved his bride to be and was willing to help her in any way possible!

After exchanging a few emails with DJ (who was serving our Country overseas), I got to meet Amanda and her mom and instantly wanted to photograph this wedding!

Thankfully, Amanda and DJ wanted me to photograph their wedding just as much and we set the date.  I was also able to photograph DJ's homecoming (tear jerker) Click here for homecoming session  and their engagement session.

Here is the sneak preview of their wedding this past October.  They had a beautiful day and it was filled with love, fun, family, and friends!  I hope everyone enjoys this sneak preview!

These guys were hilarious!  DJ had his 3 best friends and Amanda's brother stand beside him.  Amanda had her 2 best friends and DJ's sister stand beside her.

Love this picture

The gorgeous dress, Amanda's jewelry, and the bridesmaids jewelry

Amanda and her daddy during their first look!

I always love watching the grooms reaction through my view finder.  I love how DJ took a quick peek as Amanda walked over and then the smile as she walked down the aisle.

Best first kiss!

Mr. and Mrs.

Love their rings!

The gorgeous reception venue

Sweet first dance

The DJ suggested the girls play bouquet musical chairs... it was a huge hit!

The rest of the evening was filled with dancing (in chairs), crazy photo booth props, Amanda's grandma breaking it down, and money was collected through a dollar dance.  Everyone had a blast!

The night was complete with a bubble exit for the bride and groom.

DJ's friends hope you had a great time and enjoyed the pictures!
